Interfaces
ReServe Interactive offers
multiple system interfaces designed to enhance the
functionality and reliability of its hospitality
management software offering and meet the specific
needs of its hospitality industry customers. By
overlapping and sharing “live” data with allied
technology products, such as pagers, POS systems,
phones and e-mail, ReServe Interactive maximizes the
cumulative benefits to the customer.
ReServe Interactive is committed to advancing
technology by intersecting applications to
synchronize and streamline front-of-house
operations.
POS System Interface between ReServe
Interactive and Aloha or MICROS utilizes precise
table status monitoring to increase floor management
efficiency. As items are entered on the POS system,
the color-coded table status is automatically
updated in ReServe. ReServe does not require any
additional information entered – it is updated
automatically through the POS system interface. At
any time, servers and hosts can see real-time table
status such as entrée ordered, dessert ordered,
check presented, check paid, bus request and table
cleared. This interface also tracks spend history
and guest preferences based on purchases; and
records financial data for each guest adding further
value to ReServe’s already robust customer
relationship management tools. For example, when the
check is closed on the POS system, the check details
– food and beverage revenue, gratuity, tax and total
– are automatically transferred to ReServe where
they are recorded in the guest’s history.
Paging System Interface with JTECH and NTN
pagers allows the user to simply enter the pager
number given to the guest in the Table Management
Software application. When the table becomes
available, the user clicks “Page Guest” and ReServe
automatically contacts the guest’s pager with a text
message that reads, “Your table is ready.” In
addition, ReServe pages the server assigned to the
guest’s table with a message notifying that “Table
X, party of X, is being seated.”
Caller ID Interface between ReServe and
CallerID.com’s “Whozz Calling?” device identifies
incoming calls and attempts to match them to a
record in the ReServe customer database. If a match
is found, the reservationist clicks a button labeled
“Use Current Caller” to automatically populate the
reservation with the caller’s information,
eliminating data entry errors and streamlining the
reservation process.
ReServeIT enables guests to make real-time
dining reservations or inquire about events over the
Internet. This feature offers a welcome convenience
for guests and a cost-effective solution for
restaurants and banquet facilities. ReServeIT
functionality is accessed 24 hours a day, seven days
a week from a link that resides on a restaurant’s
existing Web site and allows the customer to
maintain control over all guest database
information.
Microsoft Outlook Interface is built on the
industry-leading Intellisync platform and
synchronizes appointments, to-do lists and contact
information between Microsoft Outlook/Exchange and
ReServe. Schedule information and follow-up
reminders from ReServe are readily available and
integrated into a master Outlook calendar and task
list for greater efficiency. In addition,
Intellisync for ReServe attaches incoming e-mail
messages to the appropriate event or reservation
enabling ReServe to maintain a complete
correspondence history, including phone calls,
letters and e-mails.
Food & Beverage Management System Interface
shares data between ReServe Interactive and
third-party food and beverage management software
providers, such as FoodTrak and Computrition. This
interface assists with forecasting food and beverage
purchasing requirements before an event occurs;
decrements food and beverage inventory with actual
consumption quantities after an event has been
executed; and maintains current food and beverage
cost information for accurate event planning and
margin reporting.
MeetingMatrix Room Diagramming Interface
offers high-end room diagramming services using the
ReServe interface to industry-leading MeetingMatrix
room diagramming software. ReServe manages the
diagram filing system, providing quick and easy
access to the diagram matching the event being
viewed. With a single button click, ReServe
automatically creates a new diagram for an event,
initializing the diagram with the appropriate
location, attendance and table setup.
QuickBooks Interface is perfect for caterers
and small businesses using QuickBooks accounting
software. This interface automatically creates
invoices and records payments in QuickBooks based on
activities performed in ReServe. Invoice numbers in
QuickBooks correlate to event numbers in ReServe,
eliminating the need for double entry of billing and
payment information between the two systems.
E-mail Scheduler enables users to create
scheduled e-mail “jobs” with graphically enhanced
images for improved customer correspondence,
marketing messages or friendly reminders. E-mails
can be scheduled based on trigger dates within an
event or reservation to automatically send
personalized messages based on templates designed to
include fields from customer, event or reservation
data. For example, ReServe can automatically send a
Guarantee Reminder e-mail three days prior to the
date of an event that reminds the customer to call
in their guarantee numbers or finalize event
details.
